This Stones Corner cafe is run by former My Kitchen Rules contestants Bec and Mal and reflects the earthy, wholesome approach to food they demonstrated while on the show.
It kind of feels like you've turned up to your friend's share house in West End for breakfast, with lots of posters on the walls and cute kitschy mismatched furniture and crockery. This feeling extends to the menu which has lots of wholesome-looking sandwiches and goodies.
It was the ideal spot for a solo breakky to catch up on some reading. Baked free-range eggs come with house-made beans and Turkish soldiers ($11.50). It was tasty, nourishing and filling and the perfect choice on a rainy morning.
It's very rare that MM goes somewhere and only gets to sample one dish!
Perhaps you've been to Lady Marmalade and can suggest what else is good for next time?

Hey Brisbane Devoured! Good to know their lunch is yummy too. I'll definitely be heading back soon, especially since it's only a hop, skip and a jump from Chez Morsels. I reckon you could probably get away with having a dog tied up out the front too if you were sittng at one of the footpath tables.
oooh I wish I lived nearby.. I think it could definitely be doggy friendly, however I dont think I could get away with bringing mine, he's a great dane!
Great Danes are very cool dogs, lucky you. Must be tricky taking them places.
